Am I a good fit for you?

Are you:

  • wanting a bigger, more expansive mental health experience

  • not looking for the typical psychiatric and medical healthcare experience

  • someone who has had a suboptimal (or even bad) experience with mental healthcare in the past and needs someone you can trust to work with you collaboratively in an honest and caring way

  • wanting a doctor who combines solid Western medical training but who also is creative and thinks outside the box to come up with the best plan for YOU

  • wanting to live a fulfilling and successful life, even if you’ve struggled with the symptoms of depression, anxiety, or bipolar but have not yet found a psychiatrist who feels in alignment with your goals for your life?

  • wanting the flexibility of doing virtual appointments with your mental healthcare provider so you can get treated in the comfort of your home/work/wherever and not have to fight traffic/parking/find childcare?

The Mountain + Beyond Psychiatry

What does the image of the mountain in my logo represent to me?

It represents climbing and striving; putting one step in front of the other, even when it feels daunting. My grandfather, Richard Moran, was a great mountaineer and set out to climb Mount Everest at the age of 64. Though he didn’t get to the summit, he made it to 22,000 feet(!) before health issues forced him to descend the mountain. His experience, his drive, his grit and his yearning to always try something new and push beyond his comfort level really inspire me.

The path to wellness can sometimes feel like a daunting climb but the reward comes from the work of putting one foot in front of the other.

Dr. G and Beyond Psychiatry has transformed my psychiatric care by making me feel heard, valued, and unique as a patient and person. In stark contrast to a one-size-fits-all pill-pushing approach to psychiatry, Dr. G provides a breadth of care that is tailored to my needs and lifestyle, and I am so grateful for that!
